مركز الدراسات المتوسطية يدين بشدة الهجوم الوحشي الارهابي على جريدة شارلي ايبدو في العاصمة الفرنسية باريس، والذي أدى لمقتل 12 شخصاً، بينهم أربعة من أهم رسامي الكاريكاتور الذين عبروا بشجاعة وحرية عن وجهات نظرهم، تجاه كل القضايا الإنسانية بما فيها الدينية. ويرى فيه استهدافاً لقيم الحرية وحق التعبير ، التي تخوض الانسانية نضالات كبرى من أجل حمايتها وممارستها. وهو ما يشكل خطراً حقيقياً يهدد الاستقرار والسلم والأمن.
ان الاختلاف في الراي والعقيدة والمبدأ ليس سبباً من اجل ارتكاب الأعمال الإجرامية الإرهابية، واستخدام العنف بأي وسيلة وصورة كانت، و هو أمر غير مقبول.
وإذ ندين هذا الهجوم الارهابي ، نذكر بما يتعرض له الصحافيون والكتاب والمحامون والنشطاء المدنيون في سورية، من عمليات إرهابية مماثلة لما حدث في باريس، بشكل او بآخر عبر الاغتيال والقتل والاختطاف من جانب نظام الأسد والجماعات الاسلامية المسلحة وتنظيم داعش.
